finally here.
Violet whelped early on Thursday, May 21 — ten puppies arrived, nine boys and one girl. A couple weeks in now: eyes are opening, bellies are full, and the house gets a little louder by the day. 57 days old today.

Violet Dame

We bred this litter because we love this dog.
We're not a kennel. We're a family with a couple of very large dogs and the privilege of bringing more into the world. Violet sleeps next to our bed. Chief naps under the kitchen table. The puppies will be born in a quiet room off our living room.
